Valley Junior High School and St Theresa High School from Bemana will battle it out in a playoff next week. The winner will face Navosa Central College in the Under-17 final.
In yesterday’s U17 clash, Valley Junior High School edged out St Theresa 16-14 while in the U19 Navosa Central College beat St Theresa 18-2.
Fiji National Rugby League development officer Suliasi Cakautabu said although they have three schools competing in the Nadroga/ Navosa zone the standard of play has improved.
“So far Navosa Central has won all of their matches so if the other two will want to move up they will have to win next week,” Cakautabu added.
