Damodar Group confirms major refurbishment works for Village 6

One of the most-hyped and biggest movies of the year – Batman VS Superman – is ready to be released in Fiji on Thursday.

The Damodar Group will be releasing the films at all three of its cinemas – Damodar Events Cinema in Damodar City, Village 6 Cinemas in Suva and Village 4 Cinemas in Lautoka.

Online bookings are already open now.

Damodar Group chief executive, Div Damodar, said there was a lot of hype on the film since they released the trailer the past year.

“It is something that every fan of the two characters wants – to see Superman and Batman come together on the big screen,” he said.

“The campaign on this film is choose your side.”

Refurbishment

Meanwhile, Mr Damodar also confirmed major refurbishment works for Village 6 Cinemas in Suva.

“At the moment we are refurbishing the cinemas. We are just doing a few changes – with new outlets opening up in the complex such as restaurant and changing the whole look of the foyer,” he said.

However, he said major works will start happening after August.
