Restoration of Power to Nawaicoba, Nadi, Near

The Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) acknowledges complaints received from customers residing in the Nawaicoba (Nadi) area regarding delays in the restoration of power supply following Tropical Cyclone Winston.
The FEA advises our valued customers that the damage caused by TC Winston to the electricity network is immense. Since Saturday February 21, 2016 FEA teams together with numerous contractors have been working around the clock to repair high voltage transmission lines, sub-transmission lines and distribution power lines.
Our resources are currently spread around Viti Levu and Ovalau as we work on multiple fronts to get supply restored to all our customers.
There will be areas which will have their power restored later than others as we focus on getting supply restored to major hospitals, water supply installations, commercials areas, industries, etc.
We have teams that are currently working in Nawaicoba with a view to complete the restoration of power supply in the area by the end of this week.
FEA sincerely appreciates the understanding of our valued customers in Nawaicoba and thank them for their patience.
Please call the FEA Contact Centre on 132-333 for any further information on this matter.
