Time to change and go back to God was the main message of 54 year old Inia Komai of Jittu Estate.

“I have spent my life in Jittu it has been more than 30 years. Before that I was in Naitasiri,” Komai said.

“We’re happy and thankful to the Lord that we have once again reached another year and another Easter celebration where we Christians respect this day because of our God who gave his life to save sinners like me and gave us a new life.

“My only message to all my friends and families is to be thoughtful of our lives and repent and go back to God, give your life to God.  This is a unique day for all Christians. Despite what we have gone through, we must always know that God still loves us and is waiting for our return.”

Christians here and around the world are celebrating Easter to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

For Mr Komai and his family were preparing a big feast did not mean you’re a true Christian, but your positive attitude towards your fellow beings and mostly to God.

“Jesus gave his life in order for us to relive our lives and dreams. Our aim is to serve God and work from the sweat of your head, farm and serve your family like what Jesus did, he served us,” he said.

“Giving your life back to God is the best message I could give and for us humans, to repent and go back to God.”
