Man Assaults Friend With Cane Knife
A 30yr old man is in police custody after he allegedly struck his 38yr old friend with a cane knife during a drinking party yesterday morning.
The duo were drinking alcohol when an arguments broke out causing the 30yr old man to attack the 38yr old man with a cane knife. The 38yr old and was rushed to the Labasa Hospital and is currently admitted under observations. The 38yr old and received injuries to his jaw and the incident occurred at a settlement in Seaqaqa, Labasa.
We are urging members of the public to be careful whilst in a drinking party as arguments tend to break out with the outcome being ugly. Such arguments never occur when people are sober, hence, when being drunk, they are to ensure that they do not argue during this drinking party.
