Students of University of the South Pacific have taken an extra initiative towards USP’s cyclone appeal fundraiser.

USP Book Centre Store supervisor Alan Kumar purchased a T-shirt stating that he felt good being part of the fundraiser.

“I thank USP Campus Life committee in organising the fundraisers to help cyclone Winston affected,” Alan Kumar said.

“I hope my purchase will help TC (Tropical Cyclone) Winston affected people in their needs to rebuild their homes and send their children to school,” he said.

USP Book Centre Store assistant Abvinesh Chand said: “I felt good after purchasing the TC Winston Tee shirt from USP because I am helping the victims of TC Winston by spending my money on a good cause.”

More number of students and staff are buying the limited addition Cyclone Winston Tee shirts that are available at the USP Book Centre to support those affected.

USP Campus Life group manager Glenn Pope said: “This Tee shirts are available in limited addition of just 500 pieces; as a first come first serve basis as we know the course is to support the cyclone victims.”
