Some passengers that were stranded at the Labasa Airport yesterday because of bad weather were quickly airlifted to Suva on a later flight.
According to Fiji Link, an early flight from Nausori to Labasa could not land because of bad weather and had to return to Nausori.
Passengers who were supposed to board that flight were organised seats on board an 11.30am flight bound for Nadi International Airport.
Fiji Link said the quickest option of getting the remaining passengers to their destinations was to reroute them to Nadi and onward from there.
The airline has a strong policy of safety first on flights.
