The Fiji Roads Authority Acting Chief Executive Officer Rory Garland has confirmed that the Kings Road from Suva to Nadi Airport is now open to all traffic.
“Kings Road is now open after floodwaters fell from their peak, but a flood warning remains in force for the low-lying areas,” Mr Garland said.
He said drivers are asked to avoid driving through water because the depth is hard to gauge.
“Please do not to drive through flooded roads and find alternative routes where possible.”
Mr Garland said FRA is closely monitoring the situation of the roads for all divisions.”
