What is the deal with this financial institution and a particular policy that prohibits staff and even directors from participating in any social events, even personal ones, without first seeking approval from the head of institution?
Permission has even been sought for birthday party appearances.
Much grumbling from within the ranks.
Policy is believed linked to efforts to ensure no appearances of conflicts of interest, so to speak.
INTERNAL AFFAIRS
So, from what we hear, heads have indeed rolled after some married ones were found to have been involved in illicit affairs. Well, it was a matter of time amidst changes in this increasingly disciplined force.
