The badminton businesshouse competition continues at the Yat Sen Secondary School hall in Suva.

Tournament co-ordinator Steven Low says the competition is aimed at participants who wish to time off work and relax their minds through the sport.

“This week there has been a good turnout at the competition people are finding more interest in the game it is also good to see players relax themselves at the hall while playing,” Low said.

Low said this week would round off the pool games and would begin with the knock out rounds.

“We have three more weeks for the competition left so from there we will find out the winners of the businesshouse tournament.”

This is part of the plan to prepare for the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

Low says preparation is also underway in picking a team for the Commonwealth Games and they are slowly progressing with their training.
