Two Weeks Shift For Year 6, 8, 10 Exams: Minister Reddy

Year 6, 8 and 10 exams have been shifted by two weeks confirmed the Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Mahendra Reddy.
“We have already made the changes to the school terms and exams will be shifted by two weeks for year 6, 8 and 10 only,” Mr Reddy said.
For year 12 and 13 it will stay the same because the change of dates would affect the timing of results and in term two there will be more focus on preparing students for exams.
“For Year 12 and 13 they have been given one more week for studying and for teachers to utilise student learning.
“Term two is for teachers to complete their syllables and if teachers manage to complete all syllables by term two then term three will be for revision,” he said.
