Please, just come home for the sake of our children, pleads Sanjika Singh.

Mrs Singh was pleading with her husband, Arvin Singh, who had been missing since last weekend.

Police spokesperson Inspector Josaia Weicavu confirmed Mr Singh failed to return home last Saturday.

A Police report was released earlier this week seeking information on missing Mr Singh.

Mr Singh, 35, a taxi driver, was last seen by his wife getting into a taxi at their residence in Matu Street, Nepani last Saturday.

Mrs Singh tearfully said her children had been asking about their father’s whereabouts since the day he went missing.

“Where ever you are, please come home; our children need you and I really don’t care what you have been up to but my only plea is that you come home to our children.

“He came home on Saturday and gave me his mobile phone; then he left after five minutes in a taxi with someone else and since then he has not returned,” she said.

“My husband is the sole breadwinner in the family; when he left on Saturday I didn’t have much money on me but I fed my children with the little money I had,” she said.

Mrs Singh said she had tried contacting all family members but to no avail.

“I have also contacted his work place and they have also told me that they haven’t seen him too since Saturday.
