Fiji beat Kenya 12-0
The Vodafone Fiji 7s side beat Kenya 12-10 in the Hong Kong 7s Cup Quarter Finals.
Both teams were tied at nil-all at half time.
Kitione Taliga broke the dead lock with a try in the 8th minute but an unsuccessful conversion from Captain Osea Kolinisau gave Fiji a 5-0 lead.
Four minutes later, Collins Injera scored a try for Kenya in the 12th minute and a successful conversion from Sammy Oliech gave Kenya a two point lead over Fiji, 7-5. Injera added another three points from a penalty to extend their lead 10-5.
But it was Savenaca Rawaca and Osea Kolinisau who came through for Fiji with a try and successful conversion to push a resilient Kenya side out of contention for the Hong Kong 7s title.
