The Republic of Fiji Military Forces engineers will continue to assist with fixing up minor damages while tenders for building contractors are in process.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama during a talanoa session at Nasawana in Bua said rebuilding damaged buildings was high on their agenda.

He stressed that only approved and registered contractors will go ahead with rehabilitation works.

Prime Minster Voreqe Bainimarama said the Government have tendered building contractors to help on rehabilitation works in Fiji.

“Only registered contractors can go ahead with rehabilitation works,” Mr Bainimarama said.

Mr Bainimarama visited villages affected villages in Nadi district in Bua yesterday. His visit continues today.
