Two assessors in the trial of former policeman Log Nandan Goundar found him guilty of one count of rape at the High Court in Suva yesterday.
The third assessor returned a not guilty opinion for Goundar.
The accused, who was based at the Valelevu Police Station in Nasinu in June 2008, denied he raped a woman in an isolated area in Colo-i-Suva.
Justice Vincent Perera is expected to deliver his judgement today.
