The promotion /relegation clash between Ovalau and Malolo that was scheduled for yesterday has been postponed to next Saturday. The showdown will be held at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor said they had postponed the game following a request from the Ovalau Rugby Union.
“Ovalau Rugby had requested to give them one more week to prepare because they were recently affected by cyclone Winston,” he said.
“Most of the players and management are still rebuilding and we have agreed to give them another week.”
O’Connor also confirmed the winner of the promotion/relegation will take on Macuata on April 30.
