The Vodafone Fijian 7s team have extended their lead to eight points on the World Sevens Series. This is despite losing 30-7 to Kenya in the Cup final of the Singapore 7s last night.

The Vodafone Fijians notched 19 points for being the runner-up to stay at the top with 147 while South Africa beat Argentina 28-0 to grab the third spot and ranked second on the Series table with 139.

New Zealand moved down to third spot after they lost to Samoa in the Plate final.
