A 29-year-old man, who is facing charges of abduction, will have his plea and bail hearing today.
Rohit Kumar is charged with one count of abduction, after he allegedly abducted a 14-year-old student from her school in Suva last week.
The Police prosecutor told the court that Mr Kumar should not be given bail since his charge was too serious.
The young girl has returned home to her family safely.
