Cawaci Back For A Big Challenge

Coming from one of the major cyclone-affected areas, St John’s College from Cawaci, intends to show other schools that they are the team to beat.

The school has been through many challenges in the past few months and they have returned to show the country that St John’s has returned to normal with the formation of their team.

Team couch Iosefo Waibuta says their 23-member squad have been preparing in the wet weather.

“Ever since Winston, the weather at St Johns has been rainy and also our tracks have been muddy because the rugby teams have also been using the grounds, even though the condition there is not the same as using the actual track.

“We are still confident that we will be able to participate and show Fiji that even though the school was badly struck by the hurricane we have returned back to normal.”
