Student Hit By Bus In Navosa

A 14 year old student of Draiba, Navosa is admitted at the Sigatoka Hospital after being hit by a bus driven by a 53 year old bus driver of Kavanagasau, at Navosa Flat up the Valley Road on Wednesday morning.

The victim had just disembarked from the bus and was trying to cross from the front of the bus when he got hit.

Parents are again advised to warn their children to observe road safety rules.

DO NOT CROSS FROM THE FRONT OR AT THE BACK OF A BUS OR FROM ANY VEHICLE AFTER DISEMBARKING.

Drivers are also advised to always practice defensive driving at all times. The safety of your passengers and all other road users is in your hands when controlling that vehicle.
