WAF Staff Stay Home

More than 400 staff of Water Authority of Fiji working at the headquarters in the Manohan Building in Nasinu have been asked to stay home from today as the Department of Mineral Resources do further investigations to make sure that the building is “absolutely safe to return.”
This is the second day of investigations following tremors caused by earthquakes in the Suva vicinity that shook the building two days ago.
“We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience this may have caused, but the safety of our staff comes first,” said WAF chief executive Opetaia Ravai.
