Fiji Coffee has again partnered with Tourism Fiji for the third Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE).

They will provide premium coffee served by an international barista for participants attending the three-day event, for $2.

This donation which will go directly towards the Fiji Cancer Society.

In 2015, Fiji Coffee served more than 2,600 cofees at FTE, and successively ran a ‘gold coin’ fundraising drive to support the Fiji Cancer Society.

Over $1,000 was collected from the initiative with all proceeds going directly to the Fiji Cancer Society.

Fiji Coffee general manager, Phillip Low said: “For FTE 2016, we will be working two different stations with the launch of our new corporate or office specific automatic coffee machines – FRANKE H.”

“This year we will once again feature the master barista Mr Tony Vitiello and our internationally trained and fully qualified Fijian barista, Ms Esiteri Bovoro working together with our other local baristas on one station,” Mr Low said.

Mr Low explained that for FTE 2016 gold coin drive, “it will be $2 for a coffee made by our baristas and $1 for a self-service coffee from our Franke H.

“All proceeds will be going to the Fiji Cancer Society and the funds will be handed over to the Fiji Cancer Society administrator on the final day of the FTE.”

Fiji Coffee will be at FTE 2016 serving coffee from 8.30am – 3.30pm every day.

Mr Low is calling on participants at FTE 2016 to give generously to support the worthy cause.

As “the Fiji Cancer Society still has patients needing access to treatment now more than ever after the devastation of Cyclone Winston that Fiji faced in February.”

The amount collected from the initiative will be announced at the end of FTE 2016.

Tourism Fiji’s executive chairman, Truman Bradley acknowledged Fiji Coffee and Lawhill Limited for their continued support for the expo.

“Our partnership with Fiji Coffee and Lawhill Limited is another great example of industry stakeholders working hand-in-hand for the greater good.

“We cannot stress enough the importance of such relationships and we thank Fiji Coffee and Lawhill for their contributions as a gold sponsor of FTE,” Mr Bradley said.

Lawhill Wines & Spirits are also sponsoring the FTE 2016 Closing Dinner with Westpac.
