Some youths preferred to attend a Christian event at the FMF National Gymnasium after thousands of students watched the Fiji Secondary Schools’ Coca-Cola Games finals.

Lautoka youth Torika Tauyavu, 25, said this was the first time she was part of scripture union event.

“I enjoy being at the scripture event than the 2Day FM Park Jam,” she said.

Ms Tauyavu said youths needed to make the right decisions and the choice was on what they wanted to do.

The scripture union group had organised a scripture union night at the FMF National Gymnasium and the Calvary Temple Assemblies of God Youth Group organised a youth rally night at the Ratu Sukuna Park.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old from Nadi, Maleli Toga said: “I always enjoy religious activities and always involve myself in religious work.”

Ratu Kadavulevu School student, 19-year-old Paula Sovui said a religious activity was good for youths.

Nabukelevu student Ateca Siga said she was there to spend time with her friends and family.
