The second victim of the tragic Ratu Mara Road accident which took place on April 24 was buried yesterday.

Ratu Epeli Qarau Duaibe, 18, was one of the counsellors for Pathfinders, a group for youths between the age of 10 and 15 years old for the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Grief-stricken mother, Dorothy Gwilliam’s wails echoed in the Pacific Tertiary Evangelistic Center Seventh Day Adventist Church, where the service was held.

“Oilei my son,” she cried out.

Pathfinder, Linda Brook said: “This morning is a sad one for us counsellors as we have lost one of our own.”

Ratu Epeli’s elder brother, Brandon, also delivered his eulogy.

Father, Semi Duaibe said: “Through the upbringing, Epeli has been a beautiful blessing to his family and friends.”

Ratu Epeli is survived by his parents and siblings, Brandon, Marion, Baba, Navarone , Tony , Salote and Aggie .

He was buried at the Suva Cemetery.
