Asco Motors has opened a new Yamaha Denarau Service Centre on Denarau Island with an investment worth close to $100,000.

This is in a bid to offer exceptional value and experiences on the maintenance of Yamaha outboard engines in the Western Division.

Toyota Tsusho South Pacific managing director, Yoshiaki Kato, said: “We are proud to reach this new milestone for Yamaha in Fiji.

“This is a first for Yamaha and a first for Asco Motors.”

He added this Yamaha Service Centre is part of Yamaha’s long term vision to expand their network and broaden its service to the Pacific region.

“Nadi is Fiji’s tourism hub and our presence here is critical to our future growth in the tourism industry which spans from Sigatoka to Vuda in the North-Western part of Fiji,” he said.

“Our objective is to better service our varied tourist based customers, resort owners, dive operators, water transport operators to name a few.”

He added in February this year, Asco Motors Fiji was awarded the Yamaha Outstanding Sales Performance Award for pushing through units totaling 1437 in 2015.

“With this demand in Yamaha Products in Fiji, it is natural that we expand our service operations to better serve the needs of our customers,” Mr Yoshiaki said.

YES Plan

The company has also introduced the YES PLAN – which is Yamaha Extended Service Plan with Yamaha parts kit.

National Fixed Operations manager Sanjeet Kumar said: “This new venture is going to increase our customer’s satisfaction, improve service deliveries and build loyalty and everlasting relationship with our customers.

“Our commitment is not only what I have mentioned but also to invest in our people development and meet Yamaha’s Global Objective – Being number One in Marine.”
