A 37 year old man of Korovuto died after being hit by a vehicle driven by a 28 year old man of Legalega, Nadi. The accident happened on Queens Road near Navo Bridge, Nadi yesterday afternoon.
The deceased was trying to cross the road when got bumped. He was taken to the Nadi hospital and later transferred to Lautoka Hospital where he passed away later last night.
Post mortem is expected to be conducted soon.
Fatal Accident stats stands at 15 compared to 25 for the same period last year.
