The Fijian Residents rugby league team will be given as much exposure as they can get with a busy international season which lies ahead of them.

Fiji National Rugby League chief executive officer, Timoci Naleba says the dream is possible as the national side has reached the semi finals twice.

“The year’s 2016 and 2017 will be a transition period to make changes that is necessary so come 2018 we have a good platform to build the Fiji Bati brand and also realise these dreams in 2021.”

The team, made up of local players, will take on Country League and New South Wale teams from Australia in June.

Naleba said another important match to look forward to will be the Vodafone Fijian Bati clash against Samoa in Apia on October 8.
