Fijiana Visa Fees Waived

The French Embassy waived the visa fees of the Telecom Fijiana team ahead of their last leg of the Womens Sevens Series in Clermont-Ferrand, France at the end of the month.
Embassy of France public relations advisor Moira Vilsoni said: “The Embassy supports the women’s rugby team and wishes them all the best in their France tournament.”
The TFL Fijiana side are pooled with hosts France, Ireland and Australia and captain Ana Maria Roqica says, it will be not be an easy task for them.
“It is never an easy pool, all the teams are using the series as build-up for the Rio Olympics in August just like we are,” she said.
“That is why we have been working on our defence and attack since we have been together. But as the coach has said, our aim is to improve on our performance from the last leg and that is what we want to do.”
Roqica said this is another chance for them to prove themselves to the coaches that they have what it takes to be included in the final squad for Rio. The tournament is from May 29-30.
