The Republic of Fiji Military Forces Brass Band wowed the crowd yesterday during the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations at Windsor, London.
Band leader, Lieutenant-Colonel Serevi Vananalagi said last night the reception after their two performances were incredible.
“The press room was filled with people wanting to have their photos taken with band members.”
The band took part in the second day of the Royal Windsor Horse Show. This annual show coincides with the celebrations.
The first day of the show was cancelled due to wet weather. The drua (Fijian double hulled canoe) was also a show stopper, Lieutenant-Colonel Vananalagi said.
The celebrations will run until tomorrow.
