The inaugural Courts Port Denarau carnival will be held on May 28.

This was confirmed by Port Denarau Centre Management Limited General Manager Aysha Koya.

She said: “This carnival is for locals and tourists and our aim is to bring happiness and fun to everyone.

“Everyone can come along, unwind, enjoy Port Denarau’s hospitality and experience the Fijian warmth and cultural diversity.

“All our restaurants will have food stalls and retail shops that will have great deals.

“People from all over Fiji can come and try something different at Denarau.”

Ms Koya thanked Courts for coming on board as the major sponsor for the event.

“We were looking for a major sponsor for this carnival and Courts Fiji kindly took on board our proposal.

Some features of this event would be the kids and adult rides, candy floss and snow.

She added the event will be scheduled every last Saturday of every month from 9am till midnight. It’s a free fun family day and night event.

Tourism Fiji Public Relations Coordinator Kelvin Anthony said the event will bring a new creative dimension to Port Denarau marina.
