Every Fijian needs to make an effort to keep their surroundings clean, says Minister for Local Government, Housing and Environment Parveen Kumar.
Mr Kumar made these comments while receiving the 150 cartons of Mosquito Breeding Blocker donation from RC Manubhai & Co Ltd.
The Mosquito Breeding Blocker spray will help to reduce the number of mosquito breeding areas around homes and will lower risks of being bitten by a mosquito.
Minister Kumar said the Fight the Bite Campaign and the Clean-Up Fiji Campaign would ensure that the possibility of the spread of Dengue, Zika and other diseases would be reduced.
