“Given Fiji’s successes in international rugby tournaments as well as the evident passion and enthusiasm that Fijians have for the game, rugby remains a brilliant way to capture the Power of Unity across Fiji. We all come together in a spirit of brotherhood and joy; beyond all difference; and indeed TFL is proud to be associated with a game that has become so powerful in Fiji and across the world.”

“These wonderful ladies are making a mark in the international forefront and once again we’re extremely happy to be associated with them.  On behalf of the TFL family we wish the girls all the very best for their tournament in Clermont-Ferrand next week.”

FRU CEO, Mr John O’Connor congratulated the team on their selection and wished them all the best for the last tournament.  He also encouraged those that were not selected not to be disheartened and that the door was still open to them for the Rio selection and that they need to work harder.

“I would like to congratulate you on your selection into the team.  You have come a long way and have represented the country well but I urge you to continue to improve your performance as you look forward to Rio.”

“Don’t think that this selection means that you will be going to Rio as there are other contenders out there for your position.  You will still need to work hard and do the hard yards for the Rio selection.”

“I would like to wish you all the best in this last tournament and know that when you take the field you will make your families and your country proud as good ambassadors on and off the field.”
