Junior Farzan Ali will go for the kill against Tonga-born Sitaleki Maka in the feature programme of the Toe-2-Toe Boxing promotion at Prince Charles Park in Nadi today.

Also known as ‘The Razor’, Ali has been undefeated in the domestic scene for a decade.

“Preparation has been good, he is a good fighter and I will not underestimate him,” he said.

“I have seen him and I will fight according to my game plan. I need the fans to come out in numbers as my opponent has been undefeated too.”

New Zealand-based Maka said that he is ready for the fight.

“I have won all my eight fights and look forward to claiming another win,”Maka said.

“He is an experienced fighter. But in the ring you have to be smarter than your opponent. I will just go out there and box. Anything can happen in a fight. I will go there and enjoy myself.”

He called on the Tongans in country to come out in big numbers.

“There are many Tongans in Fiji and I’m calling on them to come out and support me. It will be a good fight,” Maka added.

Promoter Abdul Feroz also called for support from local fans.

Feroz confirmed that Johnny Singh has been  replaced by Nereo Cakautini.
