Niko Nawaikula says he takes responsibility for Ro Teimumu Kepa getting stranded in Los Angeles.
The lawyer and SODELPA Member of Parliament said it was unfortunate that the Leader of the Opposition and Gone Marama Bale na Roko Tui Dreketi (Paramount chief of Burebasaga Confederacy) was not able to lead a Fiji Native Tribal Congress delegation in New York. A United Nations indigenous conference was happening there.
“As second in command I take responsibility for that glitch and will address it in the manner it deserve,” Mr Nawaikula said in a Facebook post.
“It did not affect however our efforts in NY where I took over at the drivers seat in her absence.”
