Finau Happy With Progress

Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) operations manager Joe Finau said this year’s Vodafone Cup has shown a major improvement compared to last year.

“I think compared to last year, the competition has really grown and I have seen the eagerness and how well prepared the teams are every week,” Finau said.

“They have taken this competition very seriously and they want to win and have worked hard to get here. We have made an effort to make the sure the players follow the rules.

“So the disciplinary level on the field has improved immensely and things are getting better which is good to see.”
