Provinces: 1 Meeting
The Deputy Permanent Secretary Apakuki Kurusiga

The Roko Tui in all the provinces have been advised by the Ministry of the iTaukei Affairs just to hold one meeting this year.

This was confirmed to the Fiji Sun yesterday by the deputy secretary of the iTaukei Affairs Board, Apakuki Kurusiga.

He said the Roko Tui would decide on the date on their meeting.

Usually, there were two meetings a year but because of their engagement with rebuilding after the Tropical Cyclone Winston, they would just have one.

Mr Kurusiga said in the meetings, all councils would be looking at their budgets for next year.

Mr Kurusiga also confirmed that they had to make some new appointments.
