The top guns won their matches in the RC Manubhai sponsored-Suva Rugby Union Escott Shield premier grade at the Bidesi and Buckhurst Park grounds in Suva yesterday.

Army, National Fire Authority (NFA), Queen Victoria School Old Boys (QVSOB), Police and Raiwaqa stood their ground as they work towards the elimination rounds.
-Army trounced Covenant Brothers 36-24

-NFA walloped Lomaiviti 32-12

-QVSOB kept Harlequins scoreless in their 17-0 win

-Police proved too strong for Shipping Services Stallions winning 29-7

-Raiwaqa overcame a strong challenge to beat Savura 17-12.

In other exciting matches in the premier grade, Nabua upset Marist 27- 15 to record their first win in the competition.

In the CBS Power Solutions Koroturaga Grade, Wardens continues their winning streak, thumping Toorak Blues 47-0 to maintain their unbeaten run in the competition.
