New Zealand Prime Minister John Key will visit Naiyala High School in Wainibuka, Tailevu, on June 10.

This was confirmed by the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Robin Nair. Mr Key had told New Zealand Herald that he wanted to see the reconstruction works carried out by the New Zealand Defence Force following Cyclone Winston.

According to the divisional educational officer central Serupepeli Udre, the NZ Defence Force refurbished a school block and did other repair works at the school.

Mr Key arrives here on June 9. A welcome ceremony will be held at the iTaukei Affairs Board grounds at Nasese. The traditional welcome ceremony will be performed by the people of Nakelo. Maika Bolatiki
