Fiji Link Takes Anniversary Celebration To Labasa With 7s Stars

Our rebranded and upgraded national domestic airline, Fiji Link, is turning two over the weekend. And it has decided to take celebrations to one of its main destinations – Labasa.

Executive General Manager Group Corporate International and Government Affairs and Fiji Link, Shaenaz Voss, said Labasa was an important part of their network.

“We thought it would be nice this time around to celebrate the occasion with our friends up in the North,” she said.

“They’ll be part of exciting activities and have the rare opportunity to meet Jerry Tuwai and Isake Katonibau, two very popular personalities from our championship-winning rugby 7s team.”

Fiji Link will also feature some of their cabin crew and pilots who will tell their story on how they became a part of the team and what their jobs involve.

“We hope their stories will inspire many young people to consider joining the aviation industry in the years to come,” Ms Voss said.

“There will be games and activities for the whole family to enjoy, as well as special flight deals only available on the day at the venue.

“So we urge the people of Labasa to come on down to the Takia Hotel car park this Saturday and be a part of Fiji Link’s second birthday celebrations.”

Fiji Link is the wholly owned subsidiary of Fiji Airways which services its domestic and regional network.

It rebranded from Pacific Sun on June 6, 2014. It has also invested in upgraded aircraft, including 600 series ATR 72 and 42 turboprops.
