A 46 year old man is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital following an accident at the junction of Caubati Road last night.

A 46 year old man is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital following an accident at the junction of Caubati Road last night.
The accident occurred a little after 2100hrs and it is alleged the victim made a sudden turn into Caubati Road when his vehicle hit another vehicle driven by a 46 year old man of Newtown who was heading from Suva towards Nausori.
As a result the victim sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the CWM Hospital where he is admitted.
Investigations continue.
Again we are pleading with road users to be vigilant and be cautious of other road users at all times.
