More people taking advantage of Suva on Sale specials

Retailers in Suva are expecting increased traffic for the Suva on Sale as the week goes on and the event gets closer to its final few days.
Pacific Book Shop managing director, Selva Reddy, said the retailers have done their part by giving good discounts and they can see a lot of people coming for the event.
“It has been a good turnout especially given we are hosting the Suva on Sale after four years,” he said.
“Suva on Sale should continue every year so that people get into the rhythm of knowing that there’s a sale.”
Pehnawa general manager, Pritesh Kumar, said Suva on Sale gives the retailers a chance to clear up the slow moving stock.
“Apart from that, there’s a chance to show public in terms of what they have to offer on the roadside rather than inside the shops, because some people are hesitant to enter the shops,” he said.
“When we move our stock in front, they can see and judge what kind of stuff the retailers have to sell.
“Suva on Sale helps customers get expensive items at a really low price. The revival of the sale has been a great initiative by the Suva Retailers Association.”
Mr Kumar said with the Ramadan starting, people can expect cheaper prices at Suva on Sale.
