Thurston Gardens in Suva and Namaka Police Station in Nadi will be a hype of activity this Saturday at 7am on the June 11 where Westpac in partnership with Ministry of Health and Fiji Physiotherapy Association will hold their first Westpac Health Walk for 2016.

The theme for the Walk is “Blood connects us all” and this is a build up to World Blood Donor Day, which will be observed on June 14 a day focussing on thanking blood donors and highlighting the dimension of “sharing” and “connection” between blood donors and patients.

“Westpac Health Walk is a fun and healthy way to get families out and moving to start their weekend – and at the same time learn about health and wellness from professional experts and also get their free medical check-ups,” said General Manager, Westpac Fiji, Mr Brett Hooker.
