This vehicle might seem a tad bit small for the owner, Anand Vishal, but it surely has made him proud.

Mr Vishal, the managing director of Mana Graphics Limited, owns a Toyota Starlet EP82 GT version which he uses for racing in Fiji Car Club-organised racing events.

The best attraction about his vehicle is it has been built and was not bought.

Overall, it has taken him four years to what he says “build the beast”.

“I had to make it custom –made. It’s a very unique pain but one which has made me very proud,” he said.

Mr Vishal has spent significantly on his vehicle and it has helped change his timing from 19 seconds to 15 seconds in a quarter mile drag race.

The upgrades include installation of Exedy clutch system, turbo smart waste gate, Sard brand fuel pressure regulator, turbo smart boost controller, Hks blow valve, Apexi front mount intercooler and an aftermarket ecu.

“All the parts used were from overseas but I had to buy it from my friends in Fiji as it is generally not sold locally,” Mr Vishal said.

Mr Vishal also owns a Mitsubishi FTO which is believed to be the only one in Fiji and which he uses more so as a show car. He also owns a Toyota Celica.

Thus, his passion for motor sports is evident in the range of vehicles he owns.
