Four players in the Vodafone Flying Fijians squad have been affected by conjunctivitis.

The players are props Leeroy Atalifo, Campese Ma’afu, flyhalf Ben Volavola and winger Adriu Delai.

Flying Fijians head coach John McKee has reassured the disease is not serious in the Fijian camp and these players should be fit for the Saturday’s clash against Samoa.

“We isolated the players and they are all on medications and they should be alright later on the week,” McKee said.

The Fijians are wary of the attacking game the Samoans would give them and McKee says, they will be planning out proper strategies to counter the Samoans.

“This morning (yesterday) we just put in a few things into place which we talked about that is working on our defence, set plays and we start to put our attacking game together.

“It’s going to a big game,  Samoa is a very, very good side  we had some great contest with them last year  and I remember the game; they really tested our defence and hence we have been focusing on our defence today (yesterday),” McKee added.
