The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) of Dudley Intermediate School is working hard to ensure that students are provided with the best learning facilities.

On Tuesday, Year 10 students of class 802 received their desks and chairs. The 40 sets of desks and chairs is worth $6000.

The purchase was made possible after a fundraising drive which culminated with Dudley Day last Saturday. About $12,000 was collected.

Dudley Intermediate School head teacher, Majila Singh said another set of 40 desks and chairs would be bought soon.

The school is the only Intermediate school in the country which caters for Year 7 and 8.

The school roll is a little over 500.
