Vodafone Flying Fijians head coach John McKee has made 10 changes to their line-up to play Samoa in the second round of the Pacific Nations Cup tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.

Tevita Cavubati and Api Ratuniyarawa will start at second row pushing lanky Leone Nakarawa at blindside and Nadi native Naulia Dawai starts at openside.

Eremasi Radrodro comes out the bench from last week and getting an opportunity at No 8 pushing Nemia Soqeta to the bench.

Bau, Tailevu native Henry Seniloli will start at scrum-half with veteran Seremaia Bai a first five –eighth position pushing Ben Volavola to the bench who’s been one of the players affected by conjunctivitis this week.

Waisea Nayacalevu gets the nod on the right wing and will pair-up with Patrick Osborne. Other changes saw Eroni Vasiteri making his start as inside centre and will pair up with Vereniki Goneva in mid-field.

Debutant Mosese Voka will start from the bench as a loose- forward.

Head coach McKee believes they will need to make all tackles count against Samoa.

“We all know how physical the Samoan team is but we are not giving them any go forward,” McKee said.

“We will have to be top class with our defence and attack,  we got to be patient with the ball, retain possession and at the same time respect our opposition.

“I’m very pleased with the way training has been done this week; it’s quite a step-up from last week. Our combination is much better. We are ahead from where we were last week.”

Meanwhile, McKee also stated they would consider Vodafone Fijian 7s winger Savenaca Rawaca for selection next week.

“We will keep our eyes on Save and I’ve been talking with Ben, he’s training with 7s.

“If Ben feels that the game with the Flying Fijians is beneficial for his preparation then will consider him for selection next week.”

The Vodafone Flying Fijians will meet Samoa at 3pm following the Ikale Tahi- Georgia match at 12.45pm.
