Second-Accused Appears For Aggravated Robbery

Vuserau placed in remand till June 21

Another man has appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court for aggravated robbery that allegedly involved four people, one of whom was already in remand.

Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne has remanded Moape Vuserau after Police prosecutor acting Corporal Josua Shaw told the court that two men were still at large for the offence.

Mr Somaratne has given prosecution time until June 21 to respond to the bail application of the two accused.

It is alleged that on June 8, at Nailuva Road, Raiwai, they were armed with offensive weapons such as a knife and a crowbar which they used to threaten Ying Xiang and Mo Linfu and later stole from them.

The case has been adjourned to June 21.
