The Vodafone Fijian 7s squad members continue to up the tempo during training at the Uprising Beach Resort at Pacific Harbour.

The race is on before Vodafone Fijian 7s coach Ben Ryan names the 12 players for the Rio Olympics on July 16.

Among the 24 players, who are battling hard and trying their ultimate best to impress Ryan are Timoci Nagusa and Seremaia Tuwai.

“Everyone wants to make the final cut and we will be working hard to impress Ryan,” Nagusa said.

“The six weeks will be very hard. For me it’s all about going out there and doing my best, I’ll give my 100 per cent in training.”

Proud father of one, Tuwai vows to do his best.

“I’m a proud dad, but the focus is making the team for the Rio Olympics,” Tuwai said.

The two have made a pact to do their best and leave the rest to the selectors.

“All of us want to go but I think we will just do our best and leave the rest to God and Ben,” Tuwai said.
