Ali: My Players Did Not Perform
A disappointed Ba football coach Imdad Ali said his players did not perform to expectation. This was after they lost to Jack’s Nadi 2-0 in a Group A clash of the Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament.
“In every competition one has to win and lose but my boys did not play well,” the retired school teacher said.
Nadi drew first blood through Eliki Ravosai after he was set-up by skipper Napolioni Qasevakatini as they led 1-0 at the interval.
In the second half Ba came back looking for that equalising goal but failed to find the back of the net.
Ba striker Maciu Dunadamu had to be replaced as he was totally outplayed. Then Qasevakatini sealed the match for Nadi with a brilliant goal after a through pass from striker Anish Khem.
