A disappointed Lautoka coach Johnny Williams told his players to start believing in themselves if they are to stand a chance of winning the Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament.

Williams was not happy after they allowed Nadroga to take a 1-0 lead in their second pool game before they fought back to win 2-1 at Subrail Park, Labasa yesterday.

“We need to believe in ourselves and if we do there is light at the end of the tunnel,” he said.

The Stallions stunned the crowd at Subrail Park when Nadroga’s Taniela Raubuka headed in their first goal. The lead was however, short-lived when the Blues woke up and launched wave of attacks into the Nadroga territory with plucky striker Valerio Nawatu slamming the equalising goal as they settled at 1-1 at half-time.

Nadroga caused Lautoka some anxious moments with their counter attacks in the second spell but Lautoka kept their composure and hit back through Cyrus Singh who scored their second goal.
